For golfers who can't get to Swanston, can't fit a studio visit around work, or who simply aren't sure what to work on first. Whatever your level, this is where we begin.
Every new client I coach in person starts with an Assessment. This is the same first step, done online.
How It Works
Three steps, all from your phone
1. Buy your Assessment
You'll get your own private coaching space with me, in the free CoachNow app. That's where everything happens from here.
2. Send your swings and your form
A 7-iron face-on and down the line, and your driver the same, plus a short form about your game: where the ball goes, what a bad day looks like, and what you want from your golf.
3. Get your video
Within three working days you get a personal video from me, up to 15 minutes, in your private coaching space. You can watch it as often as you like.

Filming
What I need from you
- Film your 7-iron face-on and down the line, and your driver the same.
- Set the phone at hip height with the whole club and your full body in shot.
- Send normal swings at normal speed. Don't try to hit your best one, I want to see your usual one.
- Launch monitor numbers are welcome but not needed.
Left-handed? No problem. If a video doesn't give me enough to go on, I'll tell you exactly what to reshoot.
Online or In Person
Which Assessment is right for you?
Online: what your ball flight and your swing videos show. Best if you can't get to Edinburgh, or you want a clear priority to start practising now.
In person at Swanston: an hour in the studio with TrackMan, Swing Catalyst and HackMotion, a movement screen and an equipment check. Best if you're near Edinburgh and want the fullest picture.

What Happens Next
An honest next step, not a sales pitch
At the end of your video I'll tell you what I think comes next. Sometimes that's ongoing online coaching with me, and I'll explain what it would look like for you. Sometimes it's "take this and run with it". If you live near Edinburgh, it may be an in-person session. Either way, there's no pressure and nothing to sign up to.
